Raulerson One-Step™
• Multi-catheter device can be used for any application where a major vessel needs to be located quickly and easily for guidewire insertion and can be used with any introducer needle. • Lightweight design allows operator to take both hands off the introducer while preparing the guidewire for insertion. The device will not rotate or fall out due to its weight or length. • Easy vessel location, verified by blood flashback, is readily viewed through the clear bulb. • Integral valve designed within the Bulb Introducer eliminates blood loss during guidewire insertion, preventing contamination of operative field, and protects against air embolus. • Eliminates connecting and disconnecting of a syringe onto the needle. It is truly a one-step procedure from point of vessel entry to guidewire insertion. • Shorter overall length of bulb/needle assembly as compared to a needle/syringe assembly, allowing for closer proximity to the insertion site and reduces the chance of “losing” the vessel. • Allows for lower approach to the internal jugular vein while standing at the side rather than above the head of the patient, giving the physician greater control for vessel location.
