The Split Cath® Guidewire Weave Insertion Technique

Step 1
After the catheter is tunneled, dilate the vessel. Then place the guidewire into the distal tip (venous lumen) of the Split Cath®.

Step 2
Advance the guidewire through any side hole of the distal lumen (venous) of the Split Cath®.

Steps 3 & 4
Place the guidewire into the proximal (arterial) lumen tip. Continue to advance the guidewire through the arterial lumen. Advance the Split Cath® over the guidewire into the vessel until desired tip placement is achieved.
